HOW DOES MINDFUL INHABITANT SHIP?

We always ship 100% zero waste, with paper materials that are recyclable and compostable.

WHAT MATERIAL IS YOUR SHIPPING BOX MADE OF?

Our shipping box is made of 100% recycled post-consumer and post-industrial content that is 100% recyclable and compostable at the end of life — NO virgin fiber content.

WHAT MATERIAL IS YOUR TAPE MADE OF?

Our sealing tape is made of a non-reinforced, water activated paper tape that is 100% recyclable and compostable at the end of life.

WHAT MATERIAL IS YOUR SHIPPING LABEL MADE OF?

Our shipping label is made of recyclable plant materials and is a zero waste direct thermal label — meaning it requires zero ink ( usually made from fossil fuel derived petroleum ) — with a recycle compatible adhesive which can be left on when recycled with our shipping box.

On our end, the zero waste direct thermal label comes on a release liner that is 100% recycled post-consumer content paper AND is curbside recyclable — unlike the traditional silicone coated release liners which end up in landfills!

WHAT MATERIAL IS YOUR INK ON YOUR SHIPPING BOX MADE OF?

Our ink is made of a renewable and compostable algae ink — which is free from the synthetic chemical fertilizers, herbicides, GMO seeds, or fossil fuels ( petroleum ) used to produce most commercial inks.

WHAT MATERIAL IS YOUR VOID FILL AND CUSHIONING MADE OF?

We don't always use void fill and cushioning for our products, but if we do: it is recyclable and compostable paper that we received from our suppliers and we are re-using.

WHAT DO I DO WITH YOUR SHIPPING PACKAGING MATERIALS?

We ask that your that you do one of three things:

1. Re-use

2. Recycle

3. Compost

DOES MINDFUL INHABITANT OFFER FREE SHIPPING?

Yes! All mainland U.S. orders over $40, all non-mainland U.S. (Alaska, Hawaii, etc.) and Canada orders over $200, and all other international orders over $250 qualify for free shipping. We advocate buying in bulk to cut down on your carbon footprint!
